In conclusion I felt that the FLN was very successful in helping the Algerians during the Algerian civil war. When the Algerian war first started the Algerians were on their own with a little help from the FLN. when the FLN seen that they weren’t going to survive the war without the help from them. This is when they became engaged and started finding ways to help them against the French. For example the FLN helped Algeria when the French tried to abandon their country that the French destroyed just like they did to Tunisia. The Algerians did not want to be treated like Tunisia because they knew that they were different. The FLN in my opinion was the best thing that ever came to Algeria because Algeria did not have a strong army and the FLN got them help from Morocco and Tunisia.
So overall the FIS (Islamic Salvation Front) had a good fight throughout the Algerian War. From the beginning they tried to win over Algeria’s vote to become a Democracy through political movements but later on had no other option but to resort to violence due to the actions of other groups and the government not supporting them and provoking the FIS to eventually fall to aggressive circumstances. Eventually leaders of the FIS believed that even if they win this war, it will not be a win for the state of Algeria for becoming a democracy but for the Islamic nation for winning this war. Soon enough Algeria gets a new President elected named Abdelaziz Bouteflika and what this man does for the FIS is drop the fraud charges (claiming the FIS stole and cheated their elections for a Democracy in Algeria) and they begin to negotiate on certain terms. This could be considered a win for the FIS in my perspective because they fought a hard war until the end and soon enough ended getting there “false accusations of cheating” dropped and negotiating on new terms. I’d consider that a win for the Islamic nation.

The Chinese Civil War was fought between 1927 to 1950 and was caused by so many reasons. Western political ideologies was one factor and play an important role in causing both communism and nationalism to fought the civil war. At the time, China was ruled by Sun Yat Sen from the Kuomintang and they overthrowing the Qing dynasty and brought in a non-imperial government. Since it was a civil war, many things in China got affected, for example foreign trade was one of them. Foreign trade didn’t really got affect during the war, but when it towards the end foreign trade had a huge impact. At the end, the Kuomintang was benefited from foreign trade because most of their supports came from the cities and the urban areas. This helped the Kuomintang to grew more stronger and more developed. On the other hand, the Communist took actions and step into controlled the rural hinterlands. Both parties trying to gain support from the rural people and started to form new trade relationships with other countries because they needed to paid for the war damage and start new economy to help improve the country and livings.

Hitler’s involvement in the Spanish Civil war was a significant part of the war’s History. As you can see in my investigation, it was General Franco’s only hope, There were no one else that wished to help Franco win the war, if it was not for Hitler it would of be an easy battle for the Republicans. After deciding if it was worth Hitler investing their power in the Spanish Civil War, they came to a conclusion that it was. But Hitler took advantage that the fact of Franco had no choice but to accept the aid from the Nazis. Hitler also wanted something in return, for example, resources that would help develop the economy in Germany after the crisis at the end of World War One. No resources, no aid. The Spanish Civil War is famous due to its high level of intervention, but arguably I think the most important intervention over all was Hitler and General Franco working together to defeat the Republicans.

In conclusion, the reasons for the Chinese Communist Party’s victory in 1949 was because of Mao Zedong’s strategies and the failures of KMT. Mao’s strategies were very strategic. He planned every strategy accordingly and made sure there were no downfalls. Every one of his strategies worked and were very effective. Most importantly, his strategies outsmarted the KMT Party which led the Chinese Communist Party to victory in 1949. If it wasn't ’t for Mao and his strategic thinking, the Chinese Communist Party would most likely not win the Chinese civil war and the Nationalist party (KMT) would have won. One of the most valuable strategy that led the Chinese Communist Party to victory was letting the Nationalist soldiers think they won a territory and when they settled in the Communist Party would ambush and take the territory back. Finally, Mao Zedong’s strategy and the failures of KMT was the reason for the Chinese Communist Party’s victory of the Chinese Civil War in 1949.
Going into my last statement;agreeing with the CPC and with there doing is the reason why China is in the position they are in now. With the help of Mao with his leadership, marches that actually mattered and affected the life of most. If he wasn't in the position he was when China was in her break we wouldn't know where China would be. Going with the facts that in the time of need Mao was the best leader for China and not like the others discussed in this peice. Not listening to the people or fighting for the rights actually hurt China negatively reason why the people wanted change. One good point was bringing the education back to China which now most people say where the "smart people" are from. In conclusion Mao being the best change to China was great and if China hasn't learned nothing; it should be not to have leader's that mess up for years because than it takes years to reconstruct.

The Kuomintang was founded and led by Sun Yat-Sen. After his death, the Kuomintang's new leader was Chiang Kai-shek. Sun Yat-Sen was ultimately the better leader between the two. Sun Yat-Sen was the leader Chiang Kai-shek couldn't live up to. There were too flaws that Chiang Kai-shek had. For one thing, he had connections with most gangs and mafia groups in China. It was something that many Chinese citizens frowned upon whereas Sun Yat-Sen had gained the attention and respect of of those around him. Sun Yat-Sen's Secretary had even described him as "democratic and straightforward". Chiang Kai-shek also did not respect the Chinese citizens' goal of social change because he did not care for it. Another flaw that Chiang Kai-shek had was the unnecessary violence that he caused. He conducted an attack on the Chinese Communist Party known as the “White Massacre” or the “April 12th Incident”. Chiang Kai-shek ordered the Kuomintang soldiers to kill Communist Party members on the spot. Sun Yat-Sen was a peaceful man and had always believed that the Kuomintang and the Communist Party could coexist with one another.
The research question I created for this internal assessment is to what extent was the Chinese Civil War provoked by Sun Yat-sen and how was he succeeded by Chiang Kai-shek. I definitely know that Sun Yat-sen was succeeded by Chiang Kai-shek because that was stated in the sources that I researched for this investigation. Sun Yat-sen and Chiang Kai-shek were allies and they had a close relationship. It would make sense and it isn't out of the ordinary that when Sun Yat-sen died, Chiang Kai-shek took over his position. I say that Sun Yat-sen had a part in provoking the Chinese Civil War, but it was not entirely provoked by him. Chiang Kai-shek attacked the communist party of China as stated in my summary of evidence. Sun Yat-sen wanted to westernize China and that angered people which played a part in provoking the Chinese Civil War. To answer my research question I would say that yes, Sun Yat-sen was succeeded by Chiang Kai-shek and they both played a part in provoking the Chinese Civil War.

Most women who were christian had to convert to the muslim religion because of the war by force. That affected them because they were deprived for what they believed in. Throughout the Spanish civil war the nationalists and communists had their up and downs but in the end the nationalists ended up with victory. Russia and other countries that helped the communists only helped to a certain point and it was no match against what Italy and other countries on the nationalist’s side had to offer. Russia had a good effect on the communists but they just didn’t give enough military aid and soldiers compared to Italy. Italy impacted the Spanish civil war negatively and they turned the war around leading the nationalists to take over cities in Spain little by little. Russia’s help only got the communists to keep fighting longer but it was no good in the end since they lost but Russia didn’t lose money in the war because they said that Spain had to pay back the money for the military aid they got when the war finished. Italy and Russia both affected the Spanish civil war but Italy had a greater negative effect than Russia positive effect which is why the communists of Spain lost the war.
