I am truly amazed. I cannot believe how inspiring Randy Pausch was. The fact that he was dying yet he was so positive, truly inspired me to see life in a different way. We often complain about silly things, and this guy is dying and he shows no worries. He is very humorous which sets a good mood and an interesting speech. One of the phrases he said was, " Brick walls are there for a reason: they let us prove how bad we want things," will haunt me forever. I love this because it's so true and its a great way to see the difficulties and struggles of life.
I love the fact he made all his dreams come true. His childhood dreams were to feel zero gravity, to play football in the NFL, to be like Captain Kirk, to win stuffed animals, to be an imagineer, and to enable childhood dreams. He made them all come true in many different ways. Even though some were very difficult, he never gave up. Its truly inspiring and it makes me realize that if I really want something, with hard work I could achieve it.
When Randy Pausch said, "all good things come to an end," it made me realized that life is very short therefore, we cannot leave what we can do today for tomorrow because tomorrow is not promised. Now I believe that only the sky is the limit and to never say never. In conclusion, Randy Pausch was a great guy who inspired many people, including myself and it's great to see that such a great man left such a great speech that inspires many people to be better and to never give up on their own dreams.
ESSAY We all have dreams, goals you want to pursue with all your might. Objectives you want to achieve on a long term. Some of us might begin with fantastic childhood dreams but later are brought down to “reality” by ourselves, but people like Randy Pausch teach us that you CAN achieve your dreams, and make your part in helping others achieve their own dreams. Randy Pausch was a teacher at Carnegie Mellon University who died of cancer in 2008 after giving his last lecture (which this essay is a response to) in December 2007. Randy Pausch was dying, he was given his final prognosis, and he was on his final days. Yet he was always positive, in his last lecture his attitude is very calm and even humorous. His hour+ long lecture is very motivating. There are many factors that play a part in giving you a start and help you to achieve your dreams, like: your parents, peers, teachers, friends, etc. But once this dream is completed we just stop there having the satisfaction of having achieved our own dream; but Randy went the extra mile and helped other people to achieve their dreams. I have had dreams of becoming an astronaut, becoming Mario from Mario Bros, and even becoming a chef! But as I grew, my dreams changed and became more realistic. I now dream of becoming an engineer and do what I love: build things, create from scratch, scavenge parts, restore, repair, open up, design and test. The main factor that has brought me to this dream is my childhood (I am still young, mind you), having been raised playing with LEGOs and having a geek dad who collects all things robotic and space related (and whose interests have transferred to me as a result). Randy’s words: “All good things come to an end” speaks volumes, life is short so enjoy it while it lasts. He talked about how he achieved his dreams, how he helped others achieve them, and how he has enjoyed his life, and remains to have fun until his life ends. In conclusion this is a very touching lecture, its message is to pursue your goals, achieve them and help others achieve theirs, and enjoy your life for it is short. Never say never, anything is possible, do not wait for tomorrow to do what you could do today.

It was an interesting speech that Randy Pausch gave to other people at the University of Carnegie Mellon. I was surprised how Randy Pausch accomplish some of his goals and try to help his students on accomplishing their dreams, while he had 3 to 6 months to live his life; I thought to myself maybe he wanted to finish his life in a positive way of helping other people’s dreams like the way he was able to accomplish his. For example, he helped one of his students in University of Virginia, Tommy Burrnett. Burrnett’s dream was to work on the next Star Wars film. So while Burrnett joined Pausch’s virtual team, Pausch was able to help Burrnett on his dream. It worked out great for Burrnett because he was offered a job by Lucasfilm, and his dream came true when he worked in three Star Wars movies. This example showed me that I could help someone’s dreams if needed or I could accomplish my own dreams with the help of others.
Another thing that interested me was when he got in the NASA program. When he was a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon, he found out a program that NASA was allowing for college students to go up in the air of NASA’s Vomit Comet. The bad thing for Pausch was that faculty members were not allowed to go the program. It was a “brick wall” that Pausch faced, so he presented himself in the program as a web journalist to get in the program because local media were allowed. When he said that brick walls are there for a reason with the example that he made about him being in the NASA program, he was trying to say that there are dreams that the brick wall will stop others from trying to reach their dreams, but I have to not give up, have a positive attitude, and be able to through the brick wall with no problem and be able to get to my dreams.
The last few words that Randy Pausch said in his speech made me realize that everyone has a time in their life, you never know when the time will stop and you got to make that time perfect for yourself. This speech made me want to be able to achieve my dreams with a positive attitude and to never give up. In conclusion it was a good speech for other people to get inspiration from someone and get advice for accomplishing dreams that they ever wanted in their life. He definitely inspired many people with the speech he gave. It was sad that he could not live that long, but it inspired me to reach my dreams with a positive attitude.
Randy Pausch is a man who is diagnosed with cancer and decides to give a last lecture before his death. I was a bit surprised watching the video because Randy seemed humorous and in high spirits even though he was diagnosed with cancer and was told he had 3-4 months of good health left. I was expecting him to be gloomy and depressed because of his situation but he was the complete opposite. He was very upbeat and energetic in his speech that you wouldn't think he had cancer. He also said something that stood out to me which was "We cannot change the cards we are dealt just how we play the hand." That stood out to me because even though he has cancer he chose to accept it and keep moving on in his life and not put himself in a negative state of mind. Randy had a lot of childhood dreams. Some include being in zero gravity, playing in the NFL, and being a Disney Imagineer. Throughout this video I was very inspired by Randy because of how he cares about other people other than himself and he is willing to help others in achieving their dreams. He may be going through a terminal illness but that doesn't stop him from being a kind and generous person. I feel that more people should be this way and help each other out in carrying out their dreams. In the video Randy listed ways of how you can get people to help you. He listed, You can't get there alone, tell the truth, be earnest, apologize when you screw up, and focus on others, not yourself. Towards the end of the video Randy shared some important advice. That advice was be good at something: it makes you valuable, work hard, find the best in everybody; no matter how long you have to wait for them to show it, and be prepared: "luck" is where preparation meets opportunity. I comend Randy because he is a caring man who wants the best for everybody even though he himself is going through a terrible time. All in all I found this video to be truly inspiring and amazing because of all of the advice and experiences he was able to share in order for others to carry out and achieve their childhood dreams like he was able to do his.

I am imspired. Randy Pausch had a illness but he was so happy and positive, that made me love my life even more than before. We complain and whine about the little things and this guy has a short life and is not worried. He is funny and silly and that shows the viewers and the listeners that he is always smiling. When randy pausch talked about the brick walls and how they prove that you really want something. that was a good phrase and it really opened my eyes in the difficult things in life. Randy pausch had many dreams as a child to be in the NFL, to win stuffed animals, and to feel zero gravity. Randy fufilled all his childhood dreams. This goes to show you that you can do anything as long as you work hard. Randy Pausch speach made me realize that life is too short to put our dreams on hold. So if you have a dream do all you can to make that dream happen, Randy Pausch speach really spoke to people and because of him people are chasing there dreams at this very moment.
Randy Pausch has inspired many people into achieving their own dreams by succeeding with his dreams. It’s sad how he had cancer but he didn’t let it interfere with his life and he did his things. Randy has great quotes and makes people want to get passed the brick wall he talked about. He talks of reaching his childhood goals of experiencing zero gravity, which was pretty cool to see someone do. He even stayed health and in shape exercising like bike riding, this could inspire some old people to so some exercise. Randy’s quote: “The key question to keep asking is, are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have. ” I think this quote means that you should be spending your time on things that you want to do and not on something that you won’t do in the long run. Time is key and you should use your time wisely because you don’t have all the time in the world to achieve your dreams. This video got me thinking and asking questions to myself. I think randy is an amazing person who doesn’t give up and knows how to use his time, unfortunately he couldn’t live any longer. I would like to have met this wonderful person because I think he teaches valuable lessons that can change the way you think or act. You should always keep your hopes up and try your best to live your dreams .
Randy Pausch influenced me to achieve my childhood dreams. He had a lot of dreams that he wanted to achieve. And he got to achieve them. He showed me that you shouldn’t give up on your dreams, you should always accomplish what you want. He had done a lot of his goals one of them was to feel zero gravity , play football, and etc. Randy had a positive attitude when he was dying. Like to me it makes me think look at this man he was nearly dying but he showed that he had no worries. He never gave up on his goals even though he didn’t make it on the NLF he still played and made it to the hall of flags in school. In todays life a lot of people complain but don’t realize that life is short and you just have to go for it.
One thing that i liked that randy pausch had said was “all good things come to an end” which is so true. One day you can be living and the next day you can be gone. I’m amazed about his lecture because it was all true you should never give up because you don’t know when it will be your time to go. Randy helped a lot of people with their goals made them accomplish everything and never to give up. This speech was very interesting is shows me a lot. Randy Pausch is a good guy that was living his childhood like everything other kid should and completed everything he wanted to do he never gave up. He was successful. Look where he is now he was sick nearly dying he got better and still is the same men from before still completing different things in life.
Daily life should be like this he was a risk-taker like me. He tried things out even if he didn’t far. He tried out a lot of things before he got real sick. I think he did the last lecture to show the world the people that its not what people say about anything it’s about what you make it. If that is what you wanna do you go for it and never back go. If you fall just get back up and try it again thats what Randy did. Just go with what you believe in like he did. NEVER GIVE UP !

Throughout the whole speech, it is funny but also its meaningful. The last lecture is referring to one of the last lecture before you died. Randy Pausch only had 3 to 6 months of good health left, even though he had the best doctor of the world that also couldn’t help him survive longer. This is what it is, no one can change. Even Randy notice him only short time of life left, but he is not afraid and showing a way he had a good body. In Randy’s lecture, he did not talk anything about health and family but everything about his childhood dreams. Randy’s lecture had inspired many people, because everyone had dreams, is just about you try to make it happen or left behind. “The key question to keep asking is; are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have.” This quote had inspired me because as all life long, what you had the most is time. In this world, you can buy anything but except time. Time is the most valuable that you cannot afford. As what I always said is that time go by fast, you can’t even caught it or stop. Use time wisely and does everything possible seem you still didn't achieve all your dreams. As people alive should cherish the time you had because as someone passes away there is nothing more he could do to achieve or accomplish his dreams. This is the most influential and inspire lecture from what I heard before, because Randy had inspire and motivate people to achieve their childhood dreams. Randy use himself as example to show people even though his life is almost end, but he never forgot his childhood dreams and takes time to make it come true.
Just wow, I really have respect for Randy. Going through the first 2 minutes, I was like really is the game on. But going more in the video, I didn't know he had cancer. First of all, having cancer and doing what he was doing is amazing. To people that don't have a role model needs to look at him. Going through this video, I can tell he is a man of his word and the way he taclked he's goals bravo.
He had alot of goals, but the goals I like was the Nfl, Disney designer and winning stuff animals. Now I don't know about you, but I don't have high goals like this. Words I kept hearing is never give up. Randy never gave up at all, he used the break wall alot and he busted through it. He even met he's role model, how many people can say that they met there role model, I cant.
Looking through his photos, he always smiled and doing the speech he was happy, like cancer wasn't even effected him. Randy's words are so strong and true that if you didn't feel nothing wacthen this, you didn't get the point. To say you tried, on something did you really? Did you really put your all into it?
What I got from this, is never give up and "Anythings possible". Must people should have this mindset because you can do anything you put your mind on. Before I close, I just want to say my highest point in this movie is when they showed the world with the cartoons. This is one aspect in his life that he helped other people. Randy is really a good role model.

Wow! Truly an amazing story. To begin with, Randy was dealing threw some issues having tumors and still smiling he isn’t in denial about what is going on, his children know, his family knows and he is in better shape than me, that is just phenomenal. Having this condition would make a person come into a stage of depression and sadness but from what I heard him say, what was really funny and what inspired me was that he said “sorry to disappoint you!” This part was one of my favorite parts because you just wouldn’t believe a person having 10 tumors in good shape and in a great mood.
Being in the 1960’s (as he speaks) kind of transmits me to that time and add to his vision. He wanted to play in the NFL, be a Disney Imagineer and even be in zero gravity which truly those are big dreams. He really based himself on fundamentals because if you don’t have them, those fantasy dreams won’t happen and won’t appear in your life which is a great teaching for me. I am truly inspired because we can see that dreams do come true when you apply what you want to achieve in your life just like we are applying IB. It is really interesting how he speaks about “the brick wall” and honestly this wall makes those who want what’s in the other side, fight to achieve it but stop those who do not want to try.
“Is not about how to achieve your dreams, is about how to lead your mind” was one of the last quotes Randy Pausch Used before closing the discussion and to me that was also very inspiring because I Can see myself leading my mind to then achieve my dreams, just like the IB characteristic “Risk-taker” Randy Pausch thought me that we have to fight to achieve our dreams and we will receive the tools and people to help us even when people have a bad side, there is always a good side. In conclusion I am amazed by watching this footage, he is a truly inspired and I am going to take every single advice randy gave because he is an inspiration to me, to others, to the world. Believe, Achieve and DREAM!
This speech by the professor Randy Pausch gave at Carnegie Mellon University was a world wide media hit because of the such a wise words and silliness that came out of his mind at this big speech. This speech really made me seriously think about life, this man had such a big dreams as a kid and he worked hard for his dreams, the hard work you do, in the future it will pay off. According to Randy, he had an amazing childhood and according to him he said he could never find a photo where he was not smiling. Part of his motivation was when he saw an man landing on the moon when he was watching TV as a child, after then he thought "anything is possible" for this man anything is possible but you must work hard for you dream to come true because your dreams will not come in hand if you just sit there and not do nothing. Randy did achieve his childhood dreams and this events inspired thousands of people all over the world. If you think about it sometimes people or maybe even you complain how "my life sucks" or "life is too hard" and many other complaints people might have, this speech can make people realize life is short and to achieve your dreams you will need to work! maybe to achieve your dreams could be easier if you don't have a critical health problem like Randy, Randy had a really bad health issue which he knew about but guess what? he still achieved his dream, he never gave up on his dreams Randy's speech summary basically tell us people that anything is possible in life you must work hard to achieve. It is unfortunate that Randy Pausch passed away or else he would still making speeches around the world motivating million of human beings.
Randy Pausch was a really inspiring guy. His stories were great! Even when Randy was dying he always kept a smile on his face and he was even kind of funny at times during his speech. But Randy made a lot of sense to me during his speech with his theory of brick wall like how it’s only meant to stop the people who is not willing to try hard but if you do try hard enough you can surpass the brick wall. Randy also made it more clear to me that my childhood dreams are never going to come to me, I always have to go to them and its never a easy thing to accomplish. Randy was a down to earth guy. He spoke on how his parents are cool people even at their old age and how his dad is such an inspiration to him. He kept on topic with what he was talking about and the way he spoke was like he was keeping you interested with jokes or his funny past history. He even made it clear that he knows he’s dying but he says to never be a drag about it. He tells us to never give up on what you want in life. He says if you want people to help you tell the truth, be earnest, and apologize for when you do something bad because he believes in karma. What he said to end the speech was great. Like how it’s not about chasing your dreams, but its actually about how you live your life.
Randy Pausch's Last Lecture was a very heart warming and funny Lecture. Even though he was very sick he made a lasting impression and he did not even made the impression of beeing very sick. The whole time he was speaking you had the impression that he was a really funny, healthy man with a nice job, a nice family and with a lot of experience. He talked about a lot of thinks for example his childhood dreams and what he made of them and what were his experience of that dreams. One of his childhood dreams was to be NOT an astronaut but whightless. During the time when he was a computer science professor he found a program that makes studens able to partecipate at an air trip with the NASA.
Randy Pausch was also talking a lot of the adjustment of when he was learning and in his family. It really suprised me that he had almost funny and nice things to tell about his live in school and college. I thing for him clearly one of the important things is the adjustment to learning. He said that it was always fun for him to learn something new and he appears like a really open-minded and thinking person. I think he decleard that it could be really funny to learn new things and that it is always a good thing to learn something new and interessting. It seems when he would be a teacher he would always try to motivate his students and make them laugh at the things and say that they don't have to take things to seriously. I think what he was saying mades me really think about leraning and how to appoarch things to learn. I think he would be a great teacher and it motivaded me really a lot to see such a sick person seeing things so positive. It really inspires me.

Randy Pausch was a very encouraging man who always managed to keep a smile on his face, even when he was dying. He had many dreams, which consisted of: being in zero gravity, playing in the NFL, authoring an article in the world book encyclopedia, being captain kirk, winning stuffed animals and being a Disney imaginer. Randy’s dream of being in zero gravity was mostly to float, and he achieved his dream, which was to be able to float. Even though he did not make it to the NFL, he said that he probably got more from that dream and not accomplishing it then he got from any of the ones he did accomplish. A quote that he liked and that I also like is, “Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted.” This quote to me means that even if you don’t accomplish what you wanted to, trying to accomplish it will make you remember the experience you had. It may be frustrating not achieving something but having an experience from trying it out is better than nothing at all. One thing that made me think about life is when Randy mentioned, “All good things come to an end.” It made me think about life because anything can happen. You can be doing very well in life, but in a matter of seconds things can go wrong. Basically saying enjoy life and do what you want to like if there is no tomorrow. You never know when things will go wrong but if you try to accomplish your dreams you will be happy, even if you don’t get exactly what you wanted. Seeing Randy as the type of guy he is, someone funny, who is always smiling makes me think that I should also be like that. As I mentioned above, anything can happen. It’s good to be living life and doing what is needed in order to achieve your dreams. Randy never gave up in achieving his dreams, and he accomplished mostly all of them. That makes me not want to give up. It makes me want to try my best in achieving my dreams. His words were very inspiring; so I think that they will make anyone reconsider and do what he did, which was achieve his childhood dreams.
In the beginning of the video Randy Pausch talks a little about his family and his health and that was cool because it was kind of relatable. He stated that he was healthy and actually did a demonstration of it by literally doing push-ups. He also said that he had a good childhood; he was always smiling. Randy Pausch discusses life moral lessons. Also he talked about the childish dreams that he had, and some of them were very interesting to learn about. He stated how when you send your children to school you send them to learn about variety of things and I couldn’t agree anymore! Fundamentals and hard work is the key! He talks about stuff that was very interesting to learn about. One of his childhood dreams was making the national football league. His coach was very scary. He coach talk about the power of enthusiasm. He says to this day he is most comfortable in a football field. One thing he learns was “Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you want.” Randy Pausch had a really big thing for big stuff animals at the carnivals fairs.
Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams is very inspirational. I believe achieving your childhood dreams is very difficult for anyone to accomplish, due to the fact that they may not have the right resources to go achieve those dreams or they just think they’re dream are just too big that it they won’t stand a chance to do so. In the video, I learn a lot from Randy within an hour. Randy described his childhood dreams and how he was able to accomplish them in life. Besides the fact he had a sickness it didn’t stop him from motivating others to achieve their childhood dreams. Also, “fundamentals and hard work” are really important as Randy said because it gives you a principle on what your dream is based on and it takes hard work and dedication to get where you want to be. He had very different views on different things, and honestly they’re way different from how people that I know view them. When he kept stating that brick walls are there for a reason, I believe no one has a limit. If the person can’t do such thing , don’t give up just keep on trying because eventually you’ll get it. I really touched up upon a quote that Randy said which was “experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted” this really got to me because everything in life is a lesson learned and regardless if you didn’t succeed in what you wanted, at least you’ll know that you experienced it before saying giving up. Randy was very encouraging and outgoing about his accomplishments in life not only with his dream but what he got out of those experiences. This video inspires me to accomplish any dreams I may have for my future.
The Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Child Hood Dreams
In overall, this was a pretty accurate lecture! I like it very much because Randy Pausch was very effective in speaking. He made it very engaging, and interesting by making personal connections with his audience. He talked about how he achieved some of his goals during his childhood. But I felt like he was a little bit distracted by trying to make his audience laugh, rather than getting to the point and giving a lecture. But I loved how he said he loved ”Charlie and the chocolate factory” and gave a brief description about it, because it made it seem as if children or young teenagers could be a part of the audience. It seemed more as if he was giving on account to the audience. I like the absolute fact that he tells several of stones about his past and then snares it with the audience. He also recaps some of the things that he tried to play as childlike for example football. Also, I like how he said “Dream with fulfillment” He had a lot of inspirations going on! And that’s what I enjoyed the most, not only it benefited me but it also gave me new things to think about and explore more on. Randy Pausch was great! I loved the fact that he takes the time explaining how the steps and procedures of internships it was helpful. It was a really exciting lecture and learned a lot from it.
Randy Pausch’s real positivity, even during his last months are a true inspiration to myself and to many others, I am sure. His “head-fakes” truly geared his speech in many ways, to teach us about teaching and to teach what he wanted to share. He said “This wasn’t for you. This was for my children.” And while it was, I know that I gained a lot of what was there to learn. Many things surprised me about his lecture, and much of it was in how he delivered the lecture. The timing, the props, the examples and the audience. One thing I found, only after looking back on my own reactions later with a more objective view, was that I want to make that kind of an impact. I want to inspire people, to make such a real difference in a blatantly subtle way, guiding the world to truth, almost against its will. It’s not an easy thing to do, living, and I know that from true hard experience, as does everyone, to varying degrees of severity. While not everyone has fought in wars, almost given up on life or been told they aren’t worth the air they breathe, but your deepest and hardest struggle is just that, even if it would have been a drop in the bucket in someone else’s life. This life is ours, and anything can break it, unless we reinforce it, and positivity is an extremely strong adhesive. It can glue you to your responsibilities and dreams, it can keep you together and it can become an exponentially strong layer to add to your defenses. Randy Pausch had an easy time of the life he had. He overcame no “great” struggles, had a loving white upper-middle class family, and was able to achieve every one of his childhood dreams in some way or another. He spoke a lot about brick walls, and there was a reason that the parts of life he could control went well. Yes, he was lucky, but he also was positive; when Randy came across a brick wall, he said “Nice to meet you, it’s good to know you’re there,” and promptly climbed over, under, around or blasted through it. You cannot be lucky unless you do something to make that luck happen. As he mentioned, it is a coming-together of opportunity and preparation. I believe it also requires optimism and a good grip. Keep ahold of opportunities when you catch them, and work swiftly and aggressively to put your name on them while they are in your hands those seconds before you must shoot the ball or let it go to another. Part 1
Life is hard, but if you try, even if you are not now, to be fearless, fun and positive, it will be so much better. It will be somewhat easier, your confidence will allow you to take control of the truck instead of being run over or dragged along. I myself will truly strive in a great way not just in the future, but tomorrow to really take control of my life with a smile. I will tell someone a previously quiet truth, I will meet a stranger, I will correct someone, and I will stand up for myself, either to my own cynicism or to another’s in some capacity. Life will wait, but both the wait and the end will be dissatisfying. Even if it seems impossible, just start, not tomorrow or this weekend, right now, or the very next opportunity you get. Create that opportunity if you have to, but waiting for something to change that you could do now is futile. Although initiative is key, patience and thought are also essential. Randy said that if you wait, the good will come from everyone, and we know also that if we wait, and think, our response will be much more valuable and useful. While I have always had a hard time knowing what my dreams are and what to work towards, I feel that one ought to be able to achieve something in their life they had somehow wanted. On the Professor’s list of childhood dreams was something as simple as being the guy to win the oversized stuffed animals at the fair. Something small can be a motivation that will, as a sort of self-induced head-fake can truly lead one to other opportunities, successes and dreams. I encourage myself and others to reflect on what their dreams have been or might be in any matter whatsoever and what they can do, no matter how small to achieve them. The true love in Pausch’s lecture when he admitted that it was for his children made me feel like I was intruding on something private and pure. I hope to one day have something I care about as much as he, and I hope to influence others to create that for themselves. If you can follow your dreams and work tirelessly towards them, you will be able to create a world for yourself of rewards, opportunity, success and love. No matter your profession, it’s possible to make other’s dreams come true, and I hope that to be one of my own dreams. Jack Roberts Part 2
As I was watching this lecture I thought to myself and said “there really is a person who has cancer and can be really healthy.” Some individuals who have cancer give up on their lives just because they are already thinking of the future and think about dying. When they think of this, it bring that individual down and they lose all hope in life and give up. Not Randy Pausch, he had dreams that he made come true, he helps people make their dreams come true, and he is fully healthy. Pausch is a person full of life. Just the fact that he accomplished all of his dreams is awesome. His dreams were: being in zero gravity, playing in the NFL, authoring an article in the world book encyclopedia, meet captain kirk, winning stuffed animals, and being a Disney imaginer. Pausch’s dream of being in zero gravity was successful, he joined a group and they won the prize; which was to be able to fly in zero gravity. His dream to be in the NFL didn't entirely come true, but he was able to be an awesome coach. His dream to authorize an article in the world book encyclopedia came true. His dream to meet captain kirk came true. Actually captain kirk wanted to meet Pausch himself, so Pausch felt really honored. Pausch’s dream of winning stuff animals becomes true and at the end of the video, he gave some of the away (first come first served.) His dream of being a Disney imaginer becomes true also. This accomplish I thought was the best. He made the graphics for Aladdin. This movie is one of my favorites, so when I found out he mad those graphics I was very shocked and amazed. Just to top my little paragraph off, I would like to say that Randy Pausch is in fact, an inspiration to people who have cancer. He can teach them how to let go and live life.

ESSAY
ReplyDeleteWe all have dreams, goals you want to pursue with all your might.

Video Reflection

Randy Pausch video reflection
ReplyDeleteRandy Pausch has inspired many people into achieving their own dreams by succeeding with his dreams.

Essay
ReplyDeleteJust wow, I really have respect for Randy.

YouTube Video Reflection

Speech Reflection
If you think about it sometimes people or maybe even you complain how "my life sucks" or "life is too hard" and many other complaints people might have, this speech can make people realize life is short and to achieve your dreams you will need to work! maybe to achieve your dreams could be easier if you don't have a critical health problem like Randy, Randy had a really bad health issue which he knew about but guess what? he still achieved his dream, he never gave up on his dreams
Randy's speech summary basically tell us people that anything is possible in life you must work hard to achieve.
ReplyDeleteRandy Pausch's Last Lecture was a very heart warming and funny Lecture. Even though he was very sick he made a lasting impression and he did not even made the impression of beeing very sick. The whole time he was speaking you had the impression that he was a really funny, healthy man with a nice job, a nice family and with a lot of experience.
ReplyDeleteHe talked about a lot of thinks for example his childhood dreams and what he made of them and what were his experience of that dreams.

The Randy Pausch Last Lecture Video Reflection
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning of the video Randy Pausch talks a little about his family and his health and that was cool because it was kind of relatable.

Video Reflection
ReplyDeleteIn overall, this was a pretty accurate lecture!
ReplyDeleteIt’s not an easy thing to do, living, and I know that from true hard experience, as does everyone, to varying degrees of severity.
ReplyDeleteWhile I have always had a hard time knowing what my dreams are and what to work towards, I feel that one ought to be able to achieve something in their life they had somehow wanted.
Jack Roberts
Part 2
