  1. Joseph Stalin was the dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) from 1878 until 1953. Stalin struggled to get to power because Vladimir Lenin, a politician, believed that if Stalin came into power he wouldn’t know what to do. Every time when Stalin would try to get his ideas about how to run things, Lenin would disagree with him. Another struggle Stalin faced was leadership. Many members of the union wanted a collective leadership. They believed that if there wasn’t a collective leadership then there would be a dictatorship. When it came to formatting the industrialization, the right wing was against it, they wanted Russians to become richer so that they would spend more money on consumer goods. This would have eventually led up to the manufacturing industry growing. However, the left wing believed in creating an industrialization they wanted “minimization of labor and break stranglehold peasants had on economy.” The five year plan was created in 1928 and ended in 1933. The reason for the five year plan was to “industrialize the USSR in the shortest possible time.” After this plan there were many there 5 year plans. It was in 1960 when people saw changes to the economy. There were more consumer goods and there was even a light industry. Stalin created a new constitution when he came into power. He made is possible for the citizens to have the freedom from arbitrary arrest. He also made it possible for the citizens to defend themselves in a public trial. Stalin’s cult of personality was to be considered “a paternal figure” he wasn’t the best for his citizens. He would watch over all of the citizens. In the 1930s the Soviet economy failed and there was many food shortages. In order to get more food Stalin had to confiscate all of the grain crops, resulting in 5 million deaths. Many people critized Stalin for this and whoever critized him was jobless, sent to the prison camps, or deported from the country. Stalin wanted to purge the people who got in the way of him controlling Russia. Even though Stalin killed around 43,000,000 people, he did impact the Russian society. He help many industrial systems by increasing the output of the industrial system. He also impacted the society by giving women liberty. He made it possible for women to be treated equal. One final impact that Stalin had in Russia was creating healthcare for women and increasing the life-span. Stalin’s relationship with the US was rocky. However, they came together in 1941 determined to defeat Germany. While they were working together, their relationship was a little bit rocky and the US left the alliance. After this, Germany was planning to attack the USSR and the USSR knew they had to chance to beat them. After having a conversation with President Roosevelt, the US and the USSR were back in an alliance along with the British.

    Cult of Personality

    Foreign Relations to 1941

    POWER STRUGGLE

    - Before Stalin took power in Russia, he was the General secretary of the communist party. When Stalin was working as a General Secretary Lenin was in power, but he died in 192. With this being said, majority of the population on Russia thought that the great leader of the Red Army would be the new leader after Lenin, his name was Trotsky. When Lenin died he left a note saying that Stalin being the new leader would not be the best idea, he was too maniac of a being to be leader of the country. Even with the note from Stalin suggesting that Stalin should not be the leader and that Trotsky should be the leader, Stalin still managed to become the leader. Stalin started making his move by allying with Zinoviev and Kamenev to hide Lenin’s will to Trotsky to be in Power. Then “he advocated ‘Socialism in one country’ (he said that the USSR should first become strong, then try to bring world revolution) and allied with the Rightists to get Zinoviev and Kamenev dismissed (1927). Stalin put his supporters into the Politburo .Finally, he argued that the NEP was not communist, and got Bukharin, Rykov and Tomsky dismissed (1929)” (Stalin Takes Power)

    COLLECTIVIZATION AND INDUSTRIALIZATION

    - Collectivization was actually a part of the five year plan created by Stalin. Its goal was to get small farmers all around Russia and basically create them into a larger farmer. This was good both for the farmers and this caused the government to control the food in more of a controlled way. It was also good for the hard workers in the industries, it was a good way to feed them while they were working. Collectivization was created to somewhat create an equality in lifestyle between the rich and the poor. This caused to create many jobs in the city and caused people to come from their farms to work in the cities. Now with industrialization I believe that Stalin did a good job with this section as a leader. In a 10 year time period, the USSR increased its industrialization level at such a fast rate that no country would even pass them. This act was also the second part of his Five Year plan. It is said by historians that the this was very exaggerated.

  3. FIVE YEAR PLANS

    - The five year plan was created by Stalin when he came to power. The goal of the five year plan was to transform Russia into an industry powerhouse. This plan was designed to cause this in the least time possible. By its name, Stalin set a goal for its country and he had to get it done in 5 years. Now there were multiple Five Year plans. There were 12 five year plans, it all started in 1928 and it ended in 1990. Between all those years, his goal was to, again, make Russia a country stronger than any other country when it came to industries.

    CONSTITUTION UNDER HIS RULE

    - Stalin’s constitution was created in 1936 and it was named after him, it was the “Stalin Constitution”. The law was passed by the eighth Congress and it became official on December 5. The goal of the the constitution was to elaborate on the success of the socialism by the new leader, Stalin and to created a civil rights for the population just like every other country. was a shocker because Russia was well known for not respecting their populations. Other countries saw this new constitution was a way of propaganda to end the Fascism in Italy, but this is debatable.

    CULT OF PERSONALITY

    - Stalin was well respected in Russia. Many towns, cities and villages were named after him. Another example were the prizes: “Stalin Prize” or the “Stalin Peace Prize. Many people gave him tittles for being someone who created Russia such asuccessful communist country. Trotsky, the being who I mentioned that was supposed to be Russia’s new leader, he was constantly criticizing the idea of personality created around Stalin, even his name was included in Russia’s national Athem! Maybe Trotsky was jealous?

    PURGES

    - Stalin, when he was in power, he would kill anyone who was against him. Since Russia is the World’s biggest country, of course there would be some part of the country where as people would be against the idea of Communism. At some point, Stalin were creating these “purges” which were to kill the “terrorists” agains Stalin, they were a whole underground group called Moscow Centre, suprisingly the group was exposed and it revealed that Zinovied (the man in which Stalin had allied at the begging of him as a leader) play a role in the group but it was unknown. A trial was created and there were all setenced to be shot.

    IMPACT ON SOCIETY

    - Stalin had both good and bad impact on the Russian Society. The good side was that he gave woman more freedom to work, eventually women were working with men in industries. Stalin also improved the education and they were able to have their own skilled technicians. Now with the negative impacts in Society, Stalin would kill anyone that would get in his way. People for some reason would be in forced labor camps. He was also the cause of the “Great Famine” which left many people starve to death.

    FOREIGN RELATIONS 1941

    - Stalin created a foreign relation with Hitler from 1939 till 1941, many people called the Devil’s alliance because, well you know, these two aren’t the people you want to have in your country. Both wanted to take over countries that were between them, ironic because Hitler wanted to attempt to take over Russia

    Stalin

Joseph Stalin, known to be as one of the most ruthless men that has ever walked on earth was someone who opposed Nazism for many years and Serving for Russia for more than two decades. Joseph’s entrance into the communist party was the position of secretary; this was a way for him to open up and intercorrelate his plans to later appeal to power and make it his own way. When coming into power, he wanted to make sure to put much emphasis on making the communist Russia a stronger nation and to be recognized by the world; especially by Germany. After Lenin’s death, Stalin took over the communist party and saw himself with a difficult situation; famine was knocking in Russia’s door. Stalin struggled to find a way to stop this because the more he waited the more deaths were occurring plus the Nazi army was moving towards Moscow to claim victory over Russia in WWII. Stalin immediately processed the idea and forced Industrialization and collectivization of agricultural land but this was only benefiting a few and the result was a failure resulting in millions of civilians dying. Stalin brought forward a new plan known as the five year plan which goals were to bring the Soviet Union into the industrial Age However; this resulted in a worse case then what he had planned. Bringing forward the name of communism, Stalin closed farms and cultivazation factories that were in movement but this lead to a mess in the economy that seemed to not be fixed. This caused more starvation in the country side and those who were in the city that protested were immediately killed or often send to a concentration camp to be tortured.

  6. Stalin didn’t want to look as a failure so this was all blamed on “slow productivity by naturalist” which was the idea of things happening with no causation. Stalin also made sure to keep the exports and imports of the country even but by him doing this, more people died going from hundreds to thousands. Stalin preceded on to make his dictatorship more secure and running away from any accusation of the famine, the communist constitution got more brutal and kept hurting the Soviet Union. The constitution made it mandatory that everyone who wasn’t with any type of money would be helped by those that at least did but this brought purges and the relationship with the soviet wasn’t good. There is history and saying that Stalin was indeed a good person and that he cared about his people; those who opposed him though where considered immediately enemies and where killed. The WWII that is known worldwide was something that Stalin and Hitler fought for. Hitler’s Nazi Troops were sent to destroy Moscow but Stalin stood strong. In 1938, rumors began to appear that Stalin had made a pact with Hitler known as “The Devil’s pact”. This teorrised not only Russian’s but the soviet commity; this was ridiculous but of course, Stalin couldn’t hide anymore what he had done with the Soviet Union and the famine so he went forward with this pact. Althougt After 1941, The United States had come to agreements with the Soviet Union, this brought distrust and pitty for stalin. Till today stalin is known as someone who saved the country from Nazi Domination but also is remembered for destroying a lot of innocent lives.

Stalin rose through the ranks of the party and by 1922 he became the general secretary of the communist party. While he was a general secretary he built a base of support because there were some people who didn’t want Stalin to become a leader. In 1924 Lenin who was the leader of Russia had died and Stalin saw it as an opportunity to become the new leader of Russia. Stalin fought and fought to become the new leader until he eventually did a couple years later. Stalin started a five year plan was made to transform the Soviet Union from farmers and agricultural work to an industrial superpower. The government forced the farmers out and if they refused to stop farming then they were killed. The Soviet Union had a lot of respect for him because cities were renamed in his honor; soviet history books were rewritten to give him a more important role, his name became part of the soviet national anthem etc. Stalin started a purge for the enemies of the people and the most targeted group were the red army because he didn’t like them. Stalin really improved his country, made it more industrialized, stronger army, stronger nation overall but he did it with the sacrifice of millions of lives. Stalin was good for the country but a lot of people lost their lives so it was both a good and bad thing. Stalin had been allied with Hitler because they both wanted to take over the world but Hitler got out of control and even wanted to take over Russia, so Stalin decided to make an agreement with the U.S. to defeat Germany because they were already in a bad position. So 1941 is the year that Hitler broke the pact with Stalin.

In 1922, Stalin was made general secretary of the communist party, a post not considered particularly significant at the same time. This gave him control and made everyone come to his side. When Lenin died he left information behind that said Stalin shouldn't be leader and that probably made everyone that knew that scared. Stalin became the inside man so he could get rid of the information that states he's a bad leader. Stalin basically forced collectivization of agriculture and cost millions of lives. He took the small farmers and created them into bigger farms. I think he did this to provide a higher rate of crops to feed the large population of Russia. Collectivization was also put into place to balance the rich and the poor. This was probably the best thing Stalin did for Russia other than giving women freedom.
The five year plan was trying to turn Russia into the highest power. The reason the five year plan was put into place because after the first war they saw fear in that the west would plan a attack on them. Stalin was a dictator and dictators don't like people who challenged their authority. In every country their are a small group of people that was against the government and they would do anything to take his power away. Stalin effected Russia in a good way and in a bad way. Stalin helped women get more freedom and give them the right to work. He also improved the education for them so that they get a better education

Joseph Stalin was born on December 18, 1879, in Gori Georgia, Russia. Before he was the fierce dictator he is known as today, Joseph Stalin's rise to power started when he became the General Secretary of the Communist Party. Stalin struggled for power with a man known as Leon Trotsky, founder of the first red army. Trotsky encouraged the idea of a Russian Revolution while Stalin believed that communism should be advocated more in Russia. Stalin and his followers launched a propaganda attack on Trotsky which resulted in his exile. Under Stalin's reign, collectivism and industrialism occurred between the 1920's and the 1940's. They were both a part of Stalin's five year plan whose goal was to swiftly industrialize all of Russia while spreading collectivism to farms which resulted into many people dying from famine due to poor harvest. Stalin's constitution known as the 1936 constitution had its perks as well as its flaws. This constitution gave birth to the supreme government who was given the ability to create commissions. "The leader of the Presidium was declared to be the Head of State."(bbc.co.uk). Even though Stalin had most of the power, the 1939 constitution provided people with health protection, housing and education, as well as rest and leisure. During his time of rule, Stalin performed a series of purges. His reasoning for purgers were to eliminate all those who were suspected of disloyalty which resulted in suspects being murdered, imprisoned, or put to trial in which they were pleaded guilty. People worshipped Stalin to the best of their abilities in fear of being killed for having a will of their own. An alliance was made between the U.S. and the Soviet Union in 1941 in order to help put an end to Nazi Germany. It was and alliance that was high significant due to the fact that in prior years, international relations between the U.S. and the Soviet Union were not the greatest.

This weeks blog is research related. I need you to research Joseph Stalin and discuss the following issues:

    His power struggle
    Collectivization and Industrialization
    Five Year Plans
    Constitution under his rule
    Cult of Personality
    Purges
    Impact on Society
    Foreign Relations to 1941

Joseph Stalin's power struggle came about after the death of Vladimir Lenin. Lenin died in 1924 and it was thought that Leon Trotsky would be the one who will succeed Lenin's position because he was the second in command. Instead, Stalin who was the secretary of the communist party, was Lenin's successor. Lenin and Trotsky both had high positions in the Soviet Union but only one could be on top. The basis of the power struggle was what the Soviet Union would become in the future. Stalin struggled to gain power of the Soviet Union because he had different ideas than Trotsky. Trotsky supported world revolution, while Stalin supported communism. Stalin also said that Russia should verify its power before a world revolution occurred. The "Revolution from above" was set in motion by Stalin in November 1927. The "Revolution from above" contained two goals that Stalin wanted to fulfill for Soviet domestic policy. Those two goals were rapid collectivization and industrialization of agriculture. Stalin wanted to change the Soviet Union and also erase any capitalism that entered under the New Economic Policy. Stalin's first five year was adopted in 1926. One of the reasons Stalin's first five year plan was created was for rapid industrialization of the economy and also to show the importance of heavy industry. Another purpose for the Stalin's first five year plan was to transform Soviet agriculture which had individual farms into a system of large state collective farms. When Stalin was ruling the constitution, peasants would be freed so that they would be able to do industrial work in the cities. Stalin would be more unfair to the wealthier peasants. The wealthier peasants were also known as kulaks. Stalin deported about one million kulaks and forced them into working. Stalin's Cult of Personality had to do with Stalin having control over the communist party and the Soviet state. It is said that Stalin had a charismatic personality. People think of Stalin as a figure that had strong leadership. During Stalin's purges were super violent. When the Soviet Union was under the dictatorship of Stalin, millions of people were killed or imprisoned in labour camps. It is also played that gender played an important part in Stalin's purges. I would say that Stalin's impact on society was negative and horrible. He was a dictator that did no good for the society especially because of his purges. He also deported some people and forced people to work. Between the years of 1941-1945, there was an alliance between the United States and the Soviet Union. It was called the U.S.-Soviet alliance of 1941-1945. The U.S. and the Soviet Union were both able to come together even though they had a strained relationship. Both countries came together in order to defeat Nazi Germany.

As a young boy, Stalin was constantly bullied by other children for being weak and often being labeled as an inferior. This would leave a scar in his mind and fuel his quest for power and respect. Slowly, he slowly crept up the ranks of Communist power, beginning as a mere supporter until becoming the general secretary of the Communist Party in 1922. He held an, unknowingly to other members, considerable amount of power. This allowed him to shift the power order so that every major member of the party was dependent on him. After Lenin’s death, he set out to remove other members from power and establish his own government. Effectively, he took over Soviet Russia.
His struggle for power had not ended there, he continued to execute anyone he considered a challenger to his power or dangerous to the government. He conducted the infamous Purges where anyone Stalin suspected to be a traitor, a political enemy, or a naysayer was either arrested or executed. Not only politicians and army members were executed, civilians and church authorities were purged as well. Those who were not executed were sent to work camps (Called GULAGs) where they were forced to work, often until death.
The reason GULAGs were created was part of one of Stalin’s Five Year Plans for rapid industrialization and preparation for possible war with Germany. The Five Year Plans had the common goal of transforming Soviet Russia into an industrial power. Such economic plans included even more purges to supply Stalin with fresh workers and mitigate any resistance to his regime. Perhaps his main goal was to supply Russia with metals, such as Lead, Iron, Steel, Nickel, and Copper. In the wake of this rapid industrialization, thousands died building factories and working mines, and entire lakes and forests were poisoned with toxic agents.
Along with Industrialization, the Five Year Plans also intended to collectivize food production through having all farms controlled by the state and having them function collectively under one administration, equally.
Stalin strived for power and respect and effectively got it; although the way he garnered respect was through fear, violence, and ruthless censorship. Soviet Russia under him worshipped his image; statues and propaganda were found everywhere. Books were altered to show him as the true hero of the Russian Revolution, his name was found anywhere, all publications were to praise him and his work, and children were taught about his great wisdom.
Under Stalin, a new constitution was drafted and adopted in 1936, appropriately named the Stalin Constitution. The constitution gave the state a great deal of power and gave immunity for the actions that would constitute the Great Terror (kidnappings, execution without trial, false trials, conscription, and secret police forces). He also made education compulsory albeit more for political reasons rather than the welfare of the people apparently.
In conclusion, Stalin’s negative impact still outweighed the positive consequences of his regime. Although he quickly industrialized Russia and improved education, he left thousands of corpses in his wake, many disappeared from their towns without trace, entire worker cities were poisoned thanks to the factories, the purges left Russia immensely vulnerable when Germany attacked, and food shortages became commonplace thanks to mismanagement on his part.

Stalin rose in power by becoming a General Secretary of the Communist party of Sovient Union. Stalin ruled the USSR for more than two decades, also with the help of Russia that defeated Nazism. Stalin was a good leader trying to put Russia on the map. Under. Collectivation Stalin created the Five year plan to make Russia better by making farms bigger and growing them. Stalin wanted to make everybody equal, which a leader should do for his nation. The USSR was good in industrialization because of the growth that it was going in. The five year plan was for preparation just in case of an attack, but even though it was called the five year it took more than twelve to succeed. Under his constitution created rights for everybody in Russia like I said to be equel is what he wanted. His personality for Russia was respect, and others thought he was the symbol of Russia, but even so his purges were bad, anybody who imposed him would be killed or probably tortured. He was a good person at times and bad person at times, for examples the acts of killing was bad but helping Russia was good. In 1941 formed an Alliance with Hitler that was bad because they both wanted to takeover places

  14. Stalin grew up poor and in a bad household with an abusive father who was an alcoholic (almost like Hitler’s background story). When Stalin was growing up, he got involved in criminal activities so he was an aggressive man. So when Stalin was leader of Russia he was well known for his aggressive tactics because anyone who went against him in his reign of power would eventually be found dead. Stalin created something called “purges” where a group of people would kill other people who were against Stalin. Joseph Stalin was the dictator of the USSR (the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) from 1929 to 1953 (1953 being the year of his death). Before Stalin was a dictator the person before him was Lenin. Stalin was serving on the first Central Committee of the Bolshevik Party. This party took over the power in Russia. As the years progressed Stalin continued to move up the party ladder and soon became the security general of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. Lenin had died in 1924 and Stalin outmaneuvered his rivals and won the struggle for power and control of the Communist Party. Once Stalin came to power, I would argue collectivization and industrialization could have been apart of Stalin’s five year plan. But in collectivization, Stalin wanted to combine all the smaller farms and practically make one big farm, benefiting both the government and the farmers. The farmers benefitted from this because they were able to grow more resources and gain more revenue, this benefitted the government because they were able to control the resources better. Collectivization was a way to get the farmers paid more like I said before because they were able to gain working jobs in the city just like the rich. Industrialization was a plan of Stalin’s to make the state of Russia more Industrialized. But to elaborate on the five year plan which ties in with Industrialization, Stalin wanted to transform Russia into a more industrialized state which would therefor make it a stronger country than others. The constitution under Stalin’s rule was created in 1936 and was of course named after himself. This became official on December 5th, Stalin wanted to achieve socialism from the new constitution and help with civil rights for the people. Stalin was well respected by a lot of the people in Russia even before he became the dictator. Awards were named after Stalin and his name was even included in Russia’s nation anthem so the people really liked Stalin. He gave the women more freedom and jobs such as working in the industries. Stalin improved the education and this came in handy when it came to other aspects in work so his impact on society was somewhat good except for what I mentioned above on how with the getting rid of those who went against him. Then there was another reason because people would be getting sent to labor camps. Stalin and Hitler had worked together to form something called the “Devil’s Alliance where they promised not to interfere in each other’s aggressive military campaigns. Eventually Hitler ended up double crossing Stalin, who wasn’t prepared for it.

    Joseph Stalin
Joseph Stalin was the leader and the dictator of the Soviet Union in the mid 1920s until he passed away.Under Stalin, the Soviet Union was created from a peasant society into an industrial and military superpower. However, he ruled the Union by terror, and many of his own citizens died during his harsh reign. Born into poverty, Stalin became part of the revolutionary politics, as well as criminal activities, as a young man. Once he was in power, he collectivized farming and had enemies executed or sent to forced labor camps. Stalin aligned with the United States and Britain in World War II (1939-1945) but afterward participated in a very high tense relationship with the Cold War (1946-1991). After his death, the Soviets began a de-Stalinization process.Stalin ruled with terror and with a totalitarian grip in order to eliminate anyone who might come against him. He expanded the controls of the secret police, convinced citizens to spy on one another and had millions of people killed or sent to the Gulag system of forced labor camps. Stalin establish the Great Purge, a series of campaigns made to get rid of the Communist Party, the military and other parts of Soviet society from those he considered a threat. He made sure he rules with “of terror, purges, executions, exiles to the labor camps and persecution within the post war USSR”, forcing all dissent and anything that striked of foreign–especially Western–influence. He instituted communist governments throughout Eastern Europe, and in 1949 he led the Soviets into the nuclear age by exploding an atomic bomb. Joseph Stalin launched a series of the” five-year plans intended to transform the Soviet Union from a peasant society” into an industrial that was very powerful and influential . His development plan was based on government control of the economy and included the forced collectivization of Soviet agriculture, in which the government had forcibly took power of the farms. Millions of farmers refused to cooperate with Stalin’s orders and were shot or executed as their punishment. Stalin has forced collectivization and that also led to growing famine across the Soviet Union. It had an effect because it killed millions of innocent people. Stalin affected the society through liberalization of the social services. The equality of women changed. Stalin believed , “Girls were given an adequate, equal education and women had equal rights in employment…” He definitely put a drastic change among women.

Joseph Stalin gain his reign upon the death of Vladimir Lenin was was the former leader of the Soviet Union. He went and destroyed an remains that was of the old party Lenin apart of and took absolute control. Salin had set up an outline of what he wanted to accomplish. This was called the Five Year Plans. He would used them to transform Russia into a powerful country. Stalin created a constitution in 1936 called, the Stalin constitution. I was created to show the importance of socialism and success Stalin exiled many to europe and the Americas. That was not enough Stalin then went and made trails for his rivals. He had many people arrested in the middle of the night. They were accused of allying themselves with capitalist nations and their conviction was being “ enemy of the people”. These purges were all the rage and were extended to powerful officials that were accused of being counterrevolutionaries. Stalin as a dictator was well respected many cities were named after him during and even after his reign. But all good things must come to an end. Saltin started to lose power when his five years plans failed on improving the economy. He had a strong belief that collectivism would increase food production. Living conditions worsen and the citizens struggled to attain employment. Many peasants were killed in forced labor. The only good that came out was that women gain a voice and privileges and the literacy rate of the country roses. Stalin was allied with Hitler when war started in Europe he sgian a non aggression pact. And it was the same ally that caused his downfall. slatin ignored warnings from his military commanders that that Hitler was mobilizing armies in the eastern front due to this the Soviets suffered massive losses.

Joseph Stalin, dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and opposed Nazism. Stalin’s power struggle came after Lenin’s death in 1924. After Lenin’s death, people were so surprise because Leon Trotsky and Lenin is the top two highest position in Soviet Union and people thought Leon will succeed. But the result was unexpectedly that Stalin succeed instead of Leon. The power struggle was Stalin need to gain power and support from the Soviet Union because him and Leon both had different ideas, Stalin supported communism and Leon supported world revolution. In 1927, Stalin set the “revolution” and in there it contains two major purposes, they are collectivization and industrialization. Collectivization was to transform small farms to become large farms, and the advantages for the government was they are able to controlled the food. The major purpose of collectivization was equal life between each other. Industrialization level had a great increase and help improved country’s economy. In 1926, Stalin created the Five Year Plan and the purpose was to modernize Soviet industry and show their great transformation. Under Stalin’s ruling, the constitution set to free poor peasants, so that they could work in industry. But Stalin treated the wealth peasant badly by forcing them to work. Stalin was a great leader but also had charismatic personality. During the time, under Stalin’s purges were extremely violent because millions of people got killed or prison in labor camps and gender was also a great effect, different gender treated differently. Stalin had a bad impact on society because he did nothing good to the society, forcing people to work. Between 1941-1945, Soviet alliance with the United States, and called the U.S.-Soviet, the reason why both country came together was to against the Nazi.
